This site is a one-page site about a YouTube interview channel. It has no accounts, no sign-ups and no forms. It does not ask you for your name, your email address or anything else, and it stores nothing on your device of its own.
What follows is a plain description of the third-party services the site does use, what each one receives, and how to switch them off.
What DJUTV collects directly
Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter box, no login and no comment section. The site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser's local storage. If you choose to email the booking address, you have given us your email address by doing so, and that is covered below.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub receives the IP address, browser type and requested page of every visitor, and may keep those access logs for security and abuse prevention. This happens for every site on the internet and is not something DJUTV controls or has access to. GitHub's privacy practices are described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.
The domain's DNS is managed by Cloudflare, which resolves the address but does not proxy or inspect visitor traffic to this site.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which interviews people click. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, and records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you use. It is used in aggregate; it is not used to identify individual people.
Beyond page views, three specific actions are recorded so it is possible to see what the site is actually good for: playing a video, clicking a booking link, and clicking through to a social or podcast profile.
You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely across every site you visit by installing Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
The site uses Google AdSense to display ads. The following disclosures apply:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of a wider set of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices, or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe.
Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads. It means the ads you see are no longer selected based on your browsing history.
Embedded video
Interviews on this site are hosted on YouTube. Nothing from YouTube's player loads until you click a video — until then each one is a still image. When you do click, the video loads through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set tracking cookies unless you actually play the video. At that point YouTube receives your IP address and, if you are signed in to Google, may associate the view with your account.
The still images themselves are served by Google's image host, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads even if you never press play.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details in order to serve the font files. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
The booking address on this site is forwarded to a private inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. If you email it, the message and your email address pass through Cloudflare's servers on the way. Messages are read and kept only so the enquiry can be answered. They are not added to a mailing list and are not sold or shared.
Your choices
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and blocking third-party cookies will stop both the analytics and advertising cookies described here. The site remains fully usable with all cookies blocked — nothing on it depends on them.
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before advertising and analytics cookies are set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time. If you are in California, note that DJUTV does not sell personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If the services this site uses change, this page is updated and the effective date at the top changes with it.
